Business lobby group appoints new National Chairman

The FPB has appointed Noel Guilford as its new National Chairman. Noel, who has been a non-executive board member of the FPB since 2003, is the managing partner of Chester-based Guilford Consulting, and has more than 30 years' experience as a chartered accountant and management consultant. He has been acting Chairman since June 2008, but now takes on the role full time. more >>
   
TV Licensing reminds businesses: Make sure you’re covered if staff are watching TV at work this Christmas

As businesses finalise arrangements for Christmas, TV Licensing and the Forum of Private Business (FPB) have urged managers to ensure they are correctly covered by a TV licence if staff are likely to be watching TV on the premises.

Parking restrictions hitting crucial Christmas trade, warns business lobby group
