Small firms ‘outraged’ by revelations of big business tax avoidance

The FPB says that its thousands of members running small and medium-sized businesses across the UK will be outraged by revelations, in an official study, that a majority of big companies paid little or no Corporation Tax in the 2005-6 financial year.

Firms must shop around after decision to lift bank price controls

The FPB has stressed the need for smaller companies to shop around for the best deal following the announcement of plans by the Competition Commission to lift price controls on the UK's four largest banks.
